I left Chicago in November of 2001. I was the lead meteorologist for FOX Television, WFLD for seven years. The Windy City was home and I miss my friends and the many viewers that continue to write and email me.

I bought a Winnebago Chieftan and decided to give "life on the road" a try before getting back into television. I found myself crossing the country to the west coast and then made my way south into Baja, Mexico.

I fell in love with the desert, the "laid back" lifestyle and daily views of the Sea of Cortez. Four years later I find myself more in love than ever. I will never tire of gazing at the Sea or the equally beautiful San Matir Mountain Range located just to our west. A 10,000 foot mountain range and as John Steinbeck called it, "God's Aquarium" flanking the Baja desert are just three reasons I call Mexico my home.

I am third generation San Franciscan, fifth generation Californian, part American Indian part Mexican, Irish and German. I love my country and will always claim the U.S. as my citizenship. I am a proud United States Army veteran and will always support my country. But the growing number of people moving into Califonia and the soaring houseing market combined with traffic congestion (has it taken you an hour to drive 10 miles?) and cost of living led me to a new beginning. One I would like to share with you.
